Well, I’d probably say “fucking” but I’m not sure it is. But it’s the one way it is used to mean “cool” or “cool-looking”.
In some way, the way that rapping and rap songs are sung and written is really close. There’s a kind of unity, in that it’s not hard to spot the songwriter or the rapper. I’ve often been confused for rappers, because, like most kids, I was thinking of how they were wearing their clothes as if it was a way to show I was a cool guy. The best rap artists are the singers or the rappers. They’re the ones who are taking people, who are not musicians, and putting them together and making a big thing out of it. Rapping on “the same song” with different lyrics in different ways makes it sound like someone is trying to do something different from the last time they rap, but they’re just rapping, “fuck” the same thing, which is just not the same thing.
How does it look on TV, in the movies, in the TV shows?
It all depends. I know when I’m playing on TV shows, it always looks different. For example, in my show “Superb” on the History channel, the first time I got off stage would be a lot different if I had it on live TV. The first time I did it, it showed me doing different lines in different ways, but it doesn’t look that much different in the end. On the other hand, the whole show, in this one instance, has the same characters in every episode. I’m doing a show where every scene feels to me like a different act of the same character. So, at the end of the day, I don’t think the TV is a real world – it’s only in my head.
What is your favorite character you’ve played?
It is tough because I love a lot of them. There are a lot of guys that I do like as actors, but it is so hard to choose my favorites. We really have nothing in common besides each other as actors and as people. It’s just hard to pick…
