Which DSLR is best for video? – How To Become A Successful Videographer

  • by

The ultimate question here is, why? Why would you ever want to spend your hard-earned cash on a different camera?

For one, DSLR price is an absolute barrier to entry, and we believe that the prices of your friends and family can save you a huge amount of money as well. Second, we like taking photos of our friends and family when they’re having a good time. And for more prosumer use, an SLR is more reliable, more robust and often more portable than a more expensive non-SLR camera. If we wanted to take our family vacations away, we always use a DSLR.

Do you shoot your own video for video content like weddings, weddings, news, or family?

We really enjoy shooting videos with our friends and family. Whether it be for video, music, weddings, events, or just fun things, we love to share videos with friends and family! We love how easy it is to capture great music with your smartphone and also how easy it is to produce great videos using our software – all in under 24 hours.

Where does the money from your sales go?

The vast majority of our profits are spent on products, training, software development, marketing, and paying our great staff. All of these expenses come out of pocket.

What camera does you recommend for you? Why?

The Canon EOS 1D Mark IV. We love this camera so much that we recommend it over every other camera!

How long was your journey with Canon?

We’ve been shooting with Canon DSLR cameras for close to ten years now. We’ve had countless different Canon DSLRs over that time but have never found a camera that is all we love to shoot with.

Where are you currently buying your devices?

In-store and online. We use a company called Digital Camera Supply to carry our gear on a regular basis. Please see photos below of some of our current purchases here.

What gear do you recommend for beginners?

An expensive DSLR will never work in a casual environment. If you want to buy the best camera for your beginner and not have to spend thousands of dollars, buy an affordable DSLR from one of the cheaper DSLR retailers – we are huge fans of Canon and other brands!
