If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen my posts about an event last weekend which brought together two of my favorite subjects: football and Magic.
I had the pleasure of writing something for Magic: The Gathering at the World’s Most Dangerous Games event. There really weren’t very many people attending, mostly out of family and a handful of people from the venue and I had the opportunity to sit with a few of the lucky ones (and I got to talk to several of them!) In my post I talked a bit about the event, about my experience, what I planned to do at the next World’s Most Dangerous Games, and even a little about what players can expect during the World’s Most Dangerous Games.
Since I’m still in the process of compiling every tweet/tweet from the event I’ve only just now found one tweet that I really didn’t plan to write about. It is a tweet from Mike Linnemann of the deck called ‘Maverick’, which, while not technically considered a deck in its own right, does play quite a bit of ‘vanilla’ Magic.
