If you have ever sung a talent or skill, then go for it! Singing is the most effective way to make people smile, and it’s one of the most enjoyable aspects of your job.
However, if you’re not able to sing or dance well, then you should aim to improve your performance skills over longer periods of time. Don’t just sing and dance! If you can sing or dance well, get a good coach to help you improve. It may sound obvious, but it’s often the case that you’ve got no clue how to improve your performance.
Get a coach, and it’s a win-win situation. If you’re determined, you can improve your skills by improving the coach.
Get a coach, and you’re sure to make friends in your new community (or at least improve chances of making friends). You’ve got more power!
Here are some tips for boosting your singing and dance skills. 1) Take a self-directed practice course or course for your singing.
If you’re new, take a self-directed course or course for your singing. I’ve written a review of my previous self-directed practice courses: Self-Directed Practice Course: How to Practice Your Singing
Self-Directed Practice Course: Intermediate Self-Directed Practice Course – Part 2
Self-Directed Practice Course: Intermediate Self-Directed Practice Course – Part 3
Self-Directed Practice Course: Advanced Self-Directed Practice Course: Improving the Basics of Singing
Self-Directed Practice Course: Improve Your Singing
Self-Directed Practice Course – Part 4 A good self-directed course or course for the singing will teach you the basics of singing. Some singers will need a more advanced level of singing, such as a singing teacher or a professional voice coach. Be sure to do an audition to find out what singing level you’re actually capable of. If not, find out what you’re good at and take a self-directed course for you! 2) Read or listen to good singing/dance coaches.
You don’t need formal training to coach others. Many singing coaches will be willing to coach you, and even offer to coach you for free. However, if you’re not trained in how to coach, then ask someone who is. If someone wants to coach you, don’t be afraid to ask.
