Is there still a future in it?
You know, I’ve always been a big gangsta fan ever since I could remember. I still listen to hip-hop when I need a good rapping song to listen to, and when I’m stuck, or need somewhere to be.
Do you have any favorite gangsta lyrics?
The whole time I was living in my mother’s home, I used to rhyme when I was a kid. And I used to rhyme a lot when I was a little kid. And I’m like, “OK, well, the best songs I know to rhyme are ‘Mystic City’ by Tupac Shakur, ‘Nuthin’ But a G Thang’ by Lil Wayne, ‘Gangsta’ by Snoop Doggy Dogg, ‘Gangsta’ by Nas and ‘Gangsta’ by 50 Cent.”
And I can do that because you say, “Hey man, let’s rhyme that right now,” right?

The student was quickly met with an outpouring of support from friends and peers who were happy to see him get a “second chance.” On Reddit, commenters shared stories of concerts they’ve attended while at school with people that never performed. That got the student’s attention. “They’re letting someone who’s supposed to make it in music do it for free?” he asked. “Why not
