We welcome students from all cultural and background backgrounds to participate in the program, provided they meet other criteria for participation, including, but not limited to, being an aspiring musician, living in an area with at least one major performing arts center, and being at least 17 years of age on the application date. The deadline for applications is December 1, 2018.
What classes can I take?
This is an open call for students interested in any musical or cultural aspect of learning to play piano. However, the majority of our programs are designed for those already well-versed in music and other forms of art. We have an active volunteer musical education program on campus. To find programs at the university, visit our “Programs & Services” tab on the upper right side of this website.
What can I do with my course completion?
The student-to-student tuition is approximately $15,000 per annum for the student and $5,550 per annum for the instructor. If you do not have a piano instructor yet, there is no need to worry. The only major course the program requires is a high school course at the University of Kentucky. For the most flexibility and personalized learning experience, consider enrolling in several music majors, with a few minor courses in fine arts and literature for flexibility at your own pace and preference.

In a recent news item, CNN has a good piece on the controversy of the so-called “cuck” meme as it relates to men in the military. (Note that since that article appeared, the meme has evolved into, more or less, a parody.) The problem is that it’s really not all all the men and boys who are being targeted with the “pussyfooting,” “shaking hands with the enemy” and other tactics of women in the military.
CNN’s piece provides great background on the “cuckservative,” a derogatory term that’s been used by anti-war and gun rights activists to describe male military personnel of lower status. The term is particularly ironic because so much of it involves men, from the “cocky” and “unapologetic” CUCKSOME to the “sissy cuckold” and the “girly cuckold” — to name but a few.
But let’s be clear about what that term is. It is used to describe a person or group who is unwilling to submit to the leadership of a woman.
