What is a service grant? – Alberta Government Loans For Small Businesses

  • by

A grant is an obligation placed on the provider to fund the services that are currently provided to the client. The service grant can cover the cost of the service (including administration), a portion or all the cost of the service and is a payment and guarantee based on the number of hours per week that the client is using the service.

You can only apply for a service grant if you or your staff have been trained in the service grant and you have met the guidelines and requirements outlined in the regulations.

The service grant can take up to one year, if you fail to meet or meet the requirements. If you are under 30, the service grant is only for one year.
