In order to learn filmmaking, it takes time and commitment to work with filmmakers and filmmakers can be intimidating with the amount of books available and the amount of resources they can get.
Most of us have gone through some sort of learning crisis in one way or another. Maybe we’ve dropped out of school because we couldn’t get a high school diploma or the education wasn’t there, or maybe we just didn’t like learning for its own sake. Either way, that’s a good place to start. I’d like to think most of us have a better grasp of film than we know.

The European Parliament is due to discuss draft resolution on Israeli settlements which would require Israel to take immediate, concrete measures to immediately end plans for 3,600 settler homes in the occupied West Bank.
The European Parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs (SCF) has approved the resolution, which calls for the bloc to take urgent measures to halt settlement building in the West Bank.
It’s the first time since the resolution was adopted, in 2007, that it will be passed at the European parliament.
“Today, we can say that Israel’s settlements in the territories are illegal,” said Christian Lindner, European Parliament’s representative on foreign affairs, who presented the resolution at the committee session.
“This illegal construction contravenes international law. The EU has an obligation as a responsible member to call out Israel’s policies and implement the applicable regulations to the fullest extent possible so this illegal activity can’t continue,” he said.
