To get the most out of your dance classes, you’ll need to set aside 1 hour per week for dance practice, and 2 hours for dance in general. These schedules will work for most people, but you may want to experiment with a different practice routine for your time of the week.
If you already have a regular dance routine, you should be able to set a specific time at which you stop dancing, but if you want to try something new, it can also help to set a “time out” period of one week. If you’re new to dancing, you’ll certainly want to see what it takes to set all of these dance goals so you can achieve them.
Once you set these goals, be conscious of what time of day they are and the routines you follow in order to make them work for you. At most times of the day you’ll be best off focusing on working out and keeping fit.
You can also use your calendar or your phone’s calendar or whatever. For example, if you have a class scheduled on a Monday at 5 p.m., you can set it to start at 6:30 p.m., as this will make your routine the same as if it started at 9, so you could also have a dance routine at a specific time of the week. If your goal is to learn to dance for a specific time, you could set the schedule to be 3:00 pm. or even 1:00 pm.
If you want to work out, keep in mind to stay hydrated because this will be more important than running in the sun if you want to get faster with your class.
What about other people?
No matter how many people you’re dancing with, dancing will take time. Most people have more or less the same goal because they’re doing something that’s “normal” for themselves, rather than focusing on themselves or pursuing something so out of sight that you don’t notice. Once you start seeing the benefits of dancing, however, it’s very easy to see why others don’t have a regular dance routine.
How can I get involved?
